How comforting it must feel, to have a person waiting for you. Living life by your side.
“I would do it again because it would ensure that you were here with me for an eternity,” I said and slowly removed my hand. “I could not handle a life without you. My words may seem shallow, but quickly I realized back then that our relationship was much more to me than I portrayed. It meant everything.”

A child would always try to believe in their parents. To them, they were idols who could do no wrong, people who would love and protect them no matter what. But when children grew up, they realized they too were just people.
