When she pushed me again, I lost all control. Grabbing her wrists, I turned us, pushing her onto the couch and hovering above her. I gripped her wrists in one hand and held them above her head. My free hand gripped her chin and forced her to look at me. She bucked underneath me wildly. Her strength was far greater than as a human, but I could hold on. I had to or I would lose this chance with her. “Silvia,” I called. She growled and tried to headbutt me, but my grip on her chin was too strong. “Let go of me, Keir. If you don’t, I’m going to fuckin—” “Do it,” I hissed, cutting her off. “I’m

“You can’t command me to do anything—” “Evidently not,” I growled. “You have been running for two years, Silvia, aren’t you tired of it?”
“Is that a challenge, little hunter?” I asked and leaned closer.
I needed to consume her every thought and entire being, after all, it was only fair after she had burrowed herself so deeply inside me. There was not a waking moment where I did not think of this wild, fiery creature below me.
It was the single most hate-filled and deprived kiss I had ever had. . . And I fucking loved it.
“Such a good, little hunter,” I cooed
“I hate you so much,” she whispered. I chuckled into her neck. “Liar.”
“Your face annoyed me,” I said and let the smirk show on my lips. “I thought you may need a bit of humbling.”
“Is it lonely?” he asked. “Pushing people away all the time?”
The entire situation felt so surreal it was almost as if I were dreaming. How could the world I once knew stay so stagnant while I had been violently molded into something completely different?
Slowly, I turned my head to look at her. She stood with her arms crossed and a glare on her face. “Go complain to Keir,” I said. Her face contorted and she let out a loud, mocking laugh. “Ya let me just go tell the pussy-whipped vampire that her little plaything is about to ruin the clan,” she said.
“You should stab him next time,” Keir said after a moment. The suddenness pulled a shocked smile out of me. “It would make me feel better at least.” “I don’t want to get blood on the carpets,” I said with a teasing tone,
What I thought would be a chaste kiss turned passionate as her tongue trailed my bottom lip. How could I deny her when she asked so sweetly?
“Distract me?” She smiled and leaned forward. “Anything for my queen,” she said against my lips, pulling a laugh from me.
