CyberStorm: An Apocalyptic Thriller

I wasn’t a security expert, but I was trained as an electrical engineer, and computer networks were my field of expertise.

I'm very unclear on how an electrical engineer specializes in computer networks and goes on to be so uninformed about technology and cyber principles.

with the vision of the baby slipping sideways in my consciousness.

I thought this was a neat description. Nice "show don't tell".

This is very poignant as even the best intending people can make morally grey decisions when they feel the ends justify the means.

the true age of cyber would begin when we stopped using it as a descriptor.

This is pretty insightful. Although I think we will always have a separation between physical and logical spaces.
