Creepy rather than terrifying, but it will definitely distract you from the world as it is at the moment.   The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair by Joël Dicker. Not horror either, but definitely creepy and twisty.   Mexican Gothic by Silvia Morena-Garcia. Clever, spooky and moody with a couple of really weird and scary bits . . .
