In tech, most of us are in the very privileged position of being able to do work we enjoy and choose. The work can be hard, but it’s intellectually stimulating, it tends to be well paid, and it’s usually not dangerous. We’re very lucky. But it’s possible for this to be true and for the work you’re doing to still make you deeply unhappy.
