Most tech companies now have code review and write tests. But that wasn’t always the case! All of the guardrails that we take for granted today were introduced by people who cared enough to argue for why the change was worth the time. If you’re introducing a culture change, be patient. It takes a lot of time and dedicated effort to make everyone behave in a different way, but it’s the only way you’ll ever be able to stop pushing the process along manually.
