I’ve almost walked in on you twice. I’m going to go talk to him. Ash just texted they're on their way back.”

“With creamy spinach-artichoke filling, more filling than chicken, and thin parmesan pasta?”

A little annoying that he seems to want to fuck everyone in this house except for me. Rude.

He groans. “I’m going to come in my pants by the end of the night.” I giggle. “Let’s see if we can make that happen.”

I scoff, unable to hold it back. I mean the audacity. I’m sitting here, miserable as fuck, when I should be doing some cool vampire-werewolf shit and Carson has the nerve to be happy. Such a fucking jerk.

“I don’t care!” Griffin seethes. “I don’t care if she lit a town of orphans on fire and laughed at their screams as she skipped away! I love her! She’s my girlfriend. One of my motherfucking mates and you don’t get to take her from me!”

“I hated the entire idea of you, Nora Ivanov.” Carson pauses, taking in a mouthful of air and blowing it out. “And now, I can’t hate a single thing about you.

“You’re traumatized?” Nora laughs. “I’m the one who was sent away!” “Yes, yes,” he concedes, “we get it, Nora. Not everything is about you.”
