We feel inhibited from loving our colleagues because of the formality of a professional environment. Love in the work world looks different. It’s not deep. It’s often not emotional. You may not share a level of trust that allows you to be very personal or vulnerable. In fact, connecting on a personal level may not be appropriate or suitable to your work culture.
