“I was standing there, in the middle of the happiest day of someone else’s life. And it was like something punched me in the chest hard enough to knock the wind out of me,” he admitted. “I’ve never felt anything like that before in my life. It was New Year’s Eve, one of my best friend’s weddings, and I felt like my future had just started.”
