Trickster powers are scary and it’s best to be ready for anything without having to tap into that side of her magic.
But Witches, Witches have changed. Technology has taken over the old ways of doing things. Most Witches now have regular jobs and would practice magic part-time or not at all. The full-time Witches would make a living out of selling different herbs, remedies, or creating helpful spells.
It was very rare for Witches to settle down and even then, sharing was caring in their world.
“Fears evolve and grow, welcoming another. One whose power will balance yours in destruction. You feed his fire as he feeds your chaos. You will turn worlds upside down,”
“You need no one but us and the stars. They are nothing but words and mean souls,”
He was looking right at her, and she couldn’t look away. His eyes bore into hers and chaos rang through her head.
His eyes slowly peeled open as hot breath caressed his face. He was greeted by deep red eyes and a wet nose. You were smiling, Garm grumbled in his head. “Are you concerned?” he asked with a voice thick with sleep. It’s almost ten. You don’t smile like that, and you don’t sleep this late, Garm remarked, nudging him in the neck with his cold nose.
You could have done whatever you wanted and I would have thanked you for it.”
“Magic is such a tricky thing. Powers are an extension, not something you force.
“Your magic is an extension,” he said, hovering over her. “It’s a part of you but you have to let go of it. Don’t control it, guide it.”
“You two are really two sides of the same coin,”
