“You’re my heaven, and I’m your hell,” I whisper, making sure she understands her current situation.

“Fuck, I love you,” he whispers, his hand wrapped around my neck, crushing the chain into my already sensitive skin. “Remember that when I rip you apart.”

When I burn the world down and they ask me why, I’ll tell them the devil asked me to do it. And I wanted to make him proud.

“That’s what it feels like to love you, Ellington Jade Asher. It’s goddamn fucking consuming. Suffocating.”

“I’ll never lie to you, little demon. I will beat that ass black and blue. I’ll fuck that pretty mouth and I’ll take this cunt whenever I want. But always remember, Elli, that I love you. And no man on this earth will ever come close to feeling what I feel for you. And if he thinks he does, I’ll rip his fucking heart out.”

“See her. She’s not a nobody.” Sin watches the tears fall from my eyes with a proud smile on his face, and a sob racks my body. “She’s mine. And that makes her the most important person in the world. Understand?”
