A smile bloomed wide across my lips. Knowing that Rafe Scott, purveyor of scowls and frowns, wore brightly coloured cartoon socks underneath his dark designer suits and Amiri jeans made me stupidly happy for some reason.
So that’s what he’d been doing when he arrived and scared me half to death. He’d orchestrated a surprise for me.
I had snow. I had a Christmas tree. And now I had Rafe, if only for a little while.
“I’m gonna learn every fucking path of this beautiful body,” I said roughly, and Talia’s muscles spasmed in delight. “Is that a promise?” “A certainty.”
