My Jesus: From Heartache to Hope

And as I came to Him with my childlike faith, I am sure He delighted in my love.

I went all in on Jesus because He had given all for me.

There is always more.

“Don’t you ever date a guy who lets you walk next to the curb. A gentleman should always put himself between you and the road.”

Jesus, I trust You.

I’m going to give you everything you need to push through this tragedy.

But in the ashes of our lives, God met us. He sent us loved ones to be His voice, His arms, His comfort, His presence.

“What if the point of Job wasn’t why God allows suffering, but how God is present in our suffering?”

His Holy Spirit will minister to you in deep places, and you will be blessed from it. You’ll see—He’s more faithful than you ever knew.”

God had gently turned my face toward His,

There is no timeline for grief, nor is there a rulebook for suffering. For each of us, turning to God with our broken hearts was our salvation—a gift from Him. Scripture says we can’t even choose Jesus without His help to do it. We have nothing. He is everything.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace.

Ever since I invited Jesus into my life, the main way I’ve understood His will is through a feeling of peace.

“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

Like the Bible says, the One who called me would be faithful to bring it to completion, and I could leave it in His hands (Philippians 1:6).

She has allowed suffering to make her stronger.
