He’s sort of…beautiful. His brown skin is highlighted by the sun setting behind him, and I’ve never seen a more glorious mess of curls on a boy before.

He chuckles and it’s a cute sound. I decide at that moment I’d like to hear what his full laugh sounds like.

Another chuckle. I’ll get that full belly laugh soon enough.

And right there, I get the belly laugh I’ve been craving.
