The Echo of Old Books

The ability to read the echoes that attached themselves to certain inanimate objects—

We read not to escape life but to learn how to live it more

deeply and richly, to experience the world through the eyes of the other.

we must never veer from what’s expected.

one party was always more invested than the other, more willing to hand over their power, to make themselves small, as the price for being loved.

How sad, but so very true...

restorative care is essential. Chronic neglect may result in weakening, warping, or other persistent vulnerabilities.

In the happiest times of my life, I have reached for my books. In the saddest times of my life, my books have reached back.

Books reaching ans touching those deep places of your very being...

But I have learned this. In every wound, there is a gift.

This is also true, sometimes still sad.

changing those echoes is always possible.
