Ḥasan said, Ṣaʿṣaʿah (i.e. the uncle of Farazdaq, or his grandfather) came to the Prophet , (or he said, ‘I went to the Prophet ’) and heard him recite this verse: Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it. Whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it (99:7–8). He said, ‘It is enough for me! It is enough for me! I do not care if I do not listen to anything else.’ (Aḥmad 20593, Nasāʾī in as-Sunan al-Kubrā 11630, Ṭabarānī in Kabīr 7411 and Ḥākim 6571).
