I wanted to slap a hand over the fat bat pattern strewn across my chest to protect them from scrutiny but I refrained. It wasn’t my fault I looked like a goth toddler. Okay, so maybe it was. But it was better than looking like a regular toddler.

Richard headed to my side first, clearly expecting to open the door for me. I elbowed him in the ribs. Hard. He didn’t react. “I swear to god if you open my door for me I am going to bite you,” I warned, because being coddled through the woods was bad enough but I drew the line at chivalry.

Maybe Richard was one of those vampires that had some sort of immunity to the sun? Fuck. Depending on what TV show you watched there was all sorts of vampire lore that pointed in about a hundred different directions in that regard. God, Richard better not sparkle like Edward fucking Cullen or I was going to have to do something drastic. Like burn the city down.

He was a regular old small-town-bad-boy type, except without a single bad bone in his entire ginormous body despite his impressive resting bitch face.

“I don’t know if you’ve realized this about me but I’m kinda a slut for vampires,” I told him.

“Maybe it’s not such a bad thing to want things,” I pointed out. “Maybe that’s what keeps you alive.”

Richard chuckled, a low incredulous noise. “I can’t,” he said softly. “You don’t realize how much I have to hold back around you. You’re so—” He inhaled, hand sliding down to grip one of my asscheeks. I arched into the touch, desperate for the tease he’d subjected me to earlier. Thick fingers pulled my cheeks apart, rubbing up against my hole through dry denim for a second time, only this time he didn’t pull away. I suddenly wished I wasn’t wearing pants at all, the jeans I was wearing were too tight for him to do much more than grab and pull. “You’re so fragile.” Fragile? Motherfucker. “Fuck you, Edward Cullen,” I grunted, bumping our noses together as he let out a startled little laugh. “I’ve told you this before and I’ll tell you again: If you break my fucking legs but I get to have your cock inside me it will be well worth the rehabilitation.”

Richard agreed. Then he paused, quiet for a second as he seemed to mull over his next words. “Was it… I mean…” He trailed off, looking more insecure than I’d ever seen him look before. His face said, ‘Did I do okay?’ It said, ‘I’ve never done this before.’ It said, ‘Please, tell me I didn’t hurt you.’ “It was the most fucking awesome experience I’ve ever had,” I told him, somehow magically finding the words to reassure him. He melted, sagging in relief, his head dropping down so he could bury his face in my neck while his arms squeezed me close. “Ten out of ten, would recommend. Would do again. Repeatedly.” “Thank god,” Richard whispered against my neck, and then he laughed. That was the last thing I remembered before I fell asleep, my eyelids too heavy to hold themselves up anymore.
