“Be it holy soldier or thieving pirate, all shall know the wrath of Kain the Destroyer!” “HOLY CHEESE AND RICE, WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?”
“How were you able to summon me?” I demanded. The purple woman burst into tears and waved her arms around her. “I don’t KNOW, OK?! I was just trying to bake cupcakes. You were supposed to be buttercream frosting!”
“Who or what are you?” She gathered her courage to clamber upright and held the spoon before her like a sword. Adorable. Adorable and horribly useless. Focus.
“Kain the Destroyer? What kind of weird DnD crap is that? What are you destroying aside from my kitchen?” “Armies, assassins, kingdoms, the structural integrity of a bridge once. Whatever my mistress commands. Though by the looks of it…you destroyed your kitchen.”
“Of course,” I said with a nod. “I, too, begin my cooking tasks by summoning ancient evils. Only a fool would attempt to make confections without at least two scoops of hellfire.”
No matter the size of the opponent, I would present her with her enemy’s heads on sticks and prove my strength. Then seducing her should be easy. Women love a man who delivers.
“You’re not going to, like, haunt me forever or eat my heart, are you, Mr. High-level demon?” “Our contract ends once I’ve completed a task for you and you decide to dismiss me. As for your heart, I imagine other parts of you are sweeter.”
“My mom always warned me the devil would be attractive.” “I’m actually just a battle demon. I don’t have much interaction with the king of hell.”
Logic would suggest not screwing the demon I summoned by accident. The logical thing to do would be to take this chance to deny him and run far, far away (while keeping a six-foot distance from other humans, as suggested by the CDC during the remainder of the pandemic).
He was going to kill me. That was the only explanation. He intended to drive my soul from my body via a ridiculously drawn out orgasm and drag me down to hell. The worst part was that I wanted to go. If this is what dying felt like, then pay the reaper because fuck, I wanted to go.
“Stay here. Read me the first instruction.” Daisy gave a small shiver at the command. I liked that. “Yes, daddy. I MEAN.” Her mouth snapped shut, and she fixed a glare at the book in front of her. “Fine.” I nodded at her approvingly. “Good girl.”
