Orpheus never visited him, but Nameless tried to find any excuse to meet him at his home. He does not like me near there. He didn’t understand why. I mean no harm to Reia – his female. Opening his bone jaw to part his upper and lower fangs, he let out a louder sigh than normal. She is nice. I want a human like her. Perhaps one that didn’t smell like sticks and thorns, but a human nonetheless. He wanted a human to touch. He didn’t quite understand the difference between a male or a female. He just wanted a friend. A friend.
“Will... you give me a name?” He wouldn’t be selfish and ask for two. One name would make him happy.
“I don’t want to be alive anymore,” she whispered. “But I also don’t want to die.”
