I wonder if he even remembers our little gesture. It was something like a secret handshake, inspired by our love of movies made in the seventies and eighties. We figured out that little tidbit our sophomore year when he was wearing a high school shirt from the Ferris Bueller movie on the same day I was wearing a shirt with ET on it.
