I’d thought when I graduated and went off halfway across the country for college, I would forget about her. That those few weeks we spent together would be a distant memory belonging to a time everyone usually tries to forget. But I didn’t, not entirely. Every once in a while, I would do something or see something that would remind me of her. It could be as obscure as eating out and sitting in a booth or as direct as drinking a chocolate shake.
