There needs to be a word for both heartbroken and humiliated. Heartiliated, maybe.

I really like loudly knowing all the answers to everything: it’s one of the least “likable” things about me.

I do not like Monday mornings. Last time my boss targeted me with a “joke,” I stared at him until he explained it three times and walked away, grumbling loudly about the importance of a sense of humor.

“You enjoy living in all the narratives that never got a chance to happen.”
