Why is it that millions, tens of millions of people flock to alternative practitioners like Stella?

Usually the way it happens is that someone tries alternatives out of curiosity or desperation. The “old reality” wasn’t working for them, and they are ready to look for something beyond it. They step outside it, and if they are lucky, find a new model of health care that makes the existing one obsolete.

Only then are they open to reading the critiques of the old system, which help them make new sense of the world and assure them that yes, it is okay to step into a new one.

Animated with a living vision of a new model, critique is not complaint but invitation. It says, “You are not crazy for wanting to leave this reality, because there is a different one that could make it obsolete.”

To leave a familiar harbor to dare stormy seas, one must know of a destination.

Touch your knowledge—which is already there, coexisting perhaps with cynicism and despair—that indeed, each of us will find a way home. Recognize that as true; illogical, maybe, but true. Then, even without a map, you will recognize the first step onto the homecoming path. The Queen comes into her queendom, the King into his kingdom, and We the People into democratic sovereignty.
