Loud grace looks like attending protests and writing letters

Being around people who pretend something didn’t happen when it did happen requires grace.

My motto is: If it’s not interesting, I don’t care. No teacher I’ve ever met has been okay with my motto, but I keep hoping.

“I love banned books.

“Don’t cry,” I say. She turns to me. “Crying is a natural reaction to disappointment. Would you tell me not to sneeze?”

I can’t stand people who don’t want to learn new things!
