"I hate you," she says under her breath. Grabbing her chin I turn her face back towards mine. "Good. Hold on to that feeling. I'm not someone to love, princess. I'm the one who will haunt your dreams and torment your days, but right now I'm the only thing standing between you and something much worse. Sometimes you need a monster to fight one."
Jerking her chin out of my hold she raises it indignantly. "Are you my monster?" "Only if you are my princess," I toss back at her.
"Princesses need to be saved. They wait around for a man to get them from a tower, or wake them up with a kiss. That's not going to be me." "And who are you going to be?" he asks. "I'm going to be the one who burns the world down."
An awareness creeps over me. His need to protect me isn't because he thinks I'm weak, it's because I make him weak. Sin is telling me I'm precious to him, in the only way he knows how.
I'd burn down the world to protect her. If anything I'm more dangerous now than I ever have been, because now I have a reason to live.
Reaching behind his head he pulls his shirt off and throws it away. His belt comes off next, and he holds it in his hands. He uses it to bind my wrists, and somehow ties a knot in the headboard so I can't move.
"Don't ever let me go." My voice is breathy, betraying how close I'm getting to climaxing. "My princess is needy," he teases. "Yes, Sin, please, please," I beg. I've been hanging on the edge of orgasm for too long, and I feel like I'll die if I don't come. "When I touch you, all I see is you, you're every breath, every heartbeat. I need you to know that even when I fuck you, I am reaching for more than your body. I don't know how to make love, and even if I did, the way I feel for you is too intense."
He roars when he comes, throwing his head back, his muscles straining from the exertion. Sin is devastatingly handsome normally, but watching him come is exquisite.
