Shrieking and crying, she shoved past two men trying to grab hold of her and dove face first behind a lab table. As one sister disappeared, another reappeared. Max and her stolen blade came up behind another man. She cut his throat and slammed the blade into the neck of the man standing beside him. A new attacker grabbed her from behind, big arms pinning hers to her body. She rammed her foot hard on his instep. Twice.
