He had a perfect forehead. Not too round. Not too flat. His dark brown hair was longer on top and shorter at the sides, a few strands sticking up out of place. He had a strong chin, square at the bottom. Soft lips with a full pout. A classic nose except there was a bump on the bridge, like it had been broken before.
“You married a stranger. In secret. And you hid it from us. I’m going to fucking yell.” “Griff—” A strong arm wrapped around my shoulders, stopping another lame apology. Jasper hauled me backward, flush against his chest. “That’s enough.” Griffin’s gaze leveled on Jasper. “This is a private conversation.” “You’re yelling at my wife.”
“Want some sangria?” She walked to a cabinet, taking out a cup. Then she poured herself a glass, taking a sip and grimacing. “Yum.” “Hungry?” I asked, taking out a plate. “Not really. I ate a lot of cookie dough.” I frowned and took out another plate. Nutrition was important. Cookie dough and sangria weren’t going to be her dinner.
