We learn from the knowledge of others and reading is a big part of that for most people. So if you can’t do it, there’s an assumption you must be stupid. Now, I may not be well read, but I know about the world. I’ve lived.

No word of a lie, he’d call a job off halfway through. Takes courage that. There’s a basic human need to make time already spent seem worthwhile.

It’s a chance to live your life all over again but with advantages you never had. To be who you want to be. Who you should a been. It’s just, I know don’t I (…) when you get what you want, you lose what you have.
