An Unexpected Paradise

“Verbally sparring with you is the highlight of my day, Josephine.”

Simply put, I can’t stop thinking about her. I’ve tried. Really fucking hard.

The most horrible, fucked up part of all of this is… I don’t want to stop thinking about her. Not for a second. I’m not sure if that makes me want to laugh, cry, or scream. Probably a mixture of all three. Goddammit. I’m so fucked.

“I always let the woman finish first,” he says huskily, soft enough for only me to hear. “No one leaves unsatisfied.”

“Just because you’ve never experienced euphoric happiness doesn’t mean you don’t deserve it. It doesn’t matter if your smiles are rare or if you smile every day. You should go after what you want, because we all deserve to smile at least a little bit. We should find joy every day.”
