A Pumpkin and a Patch

Alpha roll was a term Jenna had come up with. It was an alpha male mixed with a cinnamon roll. Meaning he was the perfect mixture of a take-charge man with a heart of gold who would do anything for those he loves, especially the woman he loves.

My esteem for my dad always grew when I realized he was not blind to my mother’s craziness, yet he embraced it anyway. That was true love right there.
