This time around, I’d taken action. I wanted full custody of my girls, and she hadn’t fought it. I’d sooner throw myself into a blazing fire than let her take them with her. They were worth all the suffering that I’d gone through with their mother. I’d filed for divorce, and she’d agreed to give me sole legal custody as long as she wasn’t financially responsible for them.
