Kevin had never been happier for his friend—or more disgusted with that small part of him that was still jealous. It wasn’t that he didn’t want Lukas to have absolutely everything he’d ever wanted, because he did. He just didn’t understand why he couldn’t have it too.
Kevin narrowed his eyes, trying to figure out the feeling in his gut. Was he… jealous of a dog? What was happening to him?
Liking possessive and obsessive men in his romance novels didn’t mean he wanted that in real life. Who wanted a man so convinced you belonged together he wouldn’t leave you alone? Not him. He suppressed a shiver and schooled his expression as best he could.
