Do you believe in hate at first sight? Neither did I, until Niko fucking Adamos strides into Studio 1 like he owns the goddamn place.
Dixon gives me a look. “I don’t bottom.” “Right,” I say slowly, nodding my head. “Makes sense. No room up there with that stick firmly lodged in place.”
“You nicknamed me,” he says in near reverence, eyes wide and awestruck. “I’ve only ever heard you do that with Mateo.” “Ah, shit.” I don’t have time to ward Alex off before the five-and-a-half-foot man scrambles onto my lap, wrapping himself around me like a barnacle. He leans close to my ear, his blonde hair tickling the side of my face. “I will treasure our friendship forever,” he says softly yet vehemently. “You won’t regret this, Grumpy Bear.” “I already regret this,” I mutter.
“I’m thankful for extra-large condoms and the men who wear them.”
“I bring joy and fun into your life, and you know it,” he says. “I’m like a goddamn candy cane.” “That’s…a strange analogy.” “Because I’m motherfucking cheerful. You can’t help but smile when you see me, like I’m all the best and most comforting memories you’ve ever had, rolled into one. I’m the epitome of sweetness and mirth,” he says, and I have to bite my tongue to keep from laughing. I refuse to give him the satisfaction. “And I’m good to lick.”
“What are you doing?” Niko spits into the basin, catching my gaze in the mirror. “Brushing my teeth.” “With my toothbrush?” I ask incredulously. I mean, really? Niko grins lopsidedly at me. “We’ve shared plenty of bodily fluids before,” he comments before going back to his task. “But that’s my toothbrush,”
But as Dixon’s hand travels lower to clasp my dick, he tucks his face into my neck and whispers, “Niki,” and I know—I know—Dixon is here with me.
“Is that what you prefer? Topping?” “Oh, Heavens no,” Alex says with a little shudder. “Bossy bottom all the way, thank you very much.”
“So, how’d it happen?” “I Ghost-ed him,” I say. “That…doesn’t even make sense. Like, you played hard to get?” “No,” I say, laughing. “Like the movie, Ghost.” “Oh, my God,” Kipp breathes out in excitement. “You pottery-wooed him.” I laugh loudly. “See, I knew you’d get it.” “That’s brilliant, man. I’m happy for you.”
oh boy, I’m glad my coat covers my crotch because Dixon getting possessive in that grumpy-bear mode of his is apparently my new horny kryptonite.
You certainly knew how to act like a good boyfriend during our scenes, not that I need you to act with me. I want Dixon, not Dix.” There’s a pause, and then quietly, Dixon says, “I don’t think I was ever acting with you, Niki.” My heart just about stops.
“What was that?” he asks, circling his finger over my mouth. “My face?” “Oh, no. Definitely not your face. Not the grumpy bear I know. That was Happy Bear. Or maybe Dopey Bear,”
“You are grumpy, but I like it. I like all the pieces of you, Dixon, and I call you ‘my grump’ because you are. It’s not an insult. It’s a compliment. And I want you to know I accept you. Just as you are.”
You can’t keep up our lifestyle eating noodles and Snickers bars.” Malibu’s eyes widen. “You noticed the Snickers?” I snort. “I noticed the Snickers.” “Nuts are good protein,” he says, his lips immediately drawing together to stop his laugh. “I won’t even touch that one,” I grumble.
“I’m not going anywhere. Ever.” “Is that your way of telling me you’re my happy ending?” he asks, voice wistful and tender. I smile against his skin. “No, griniári mou. This is only our beginning.”
“Do you remember that one time,” Niko says, laughing before he’s even finished his sentence, “during one of our last scenes together, how pissed off Jerome got?” “Yeah,” I reply with a chuckle, switching into my Jerome impression. “For fuck’s sake, you two, get rid of the goddamn heart eyes. You’re not in love within these walls! You’re strangers fucking in the storage closet of a seedy club. One of you probably has herpes. Quit the cutesy shit. This isn’t happily ever after!” He was wrong about that last part, but I didn’t dare tell him so.
