“Maybe you chose boring in your past relationships because it was safe, and there was less chance of you falling all in,” he says softly. “And maybe you need someone who’s going to push, who’s going to shake things up so much you don’t know which way is up and which way is down. But that’s not a bad thing. Because then, when you fall, maybe you won’t hit the ground.”
