A single tear slipped down his cheek. “But that’s what makes me weak. I let him. I let him tear me down. I let him beat me. I let him nearly kill me. “For so many reasons. I love how inquisitive he is. He has hundreds of questions about every topic. I love how he seems shy at first, but once he’s comfortable in a situation, he comes out of his shell. I love how when he reads, he glares at me if I interrupt him. I love how he interacts with my brothers and keeps us all on our toes. I love how he wants to be constantly touching me. I love how he curls up on my lap after dinner and lets me carry him around the house. Most of all, I love how he’s brought a light to my life that I didn’t know I was missing.”
