If he ever annoys you, and he will, all you need to say is Mexico, and he’ll go bright red and back off.”
I’m positively allergic to anything outdoorsy.
“Punishment?” “Yes. It’s what I do best. That and cultivating daring fashion looks.”
“I think we’ll hold off on introductions for now. The two of you will either kill each other or end up fucking.” “Let’s hope for option two. Now, give me all the details. Is he hot?”

“Who would like the honour of going first?” Their answering screams were a symphony to my ears.
“Fuck, sweetheart. Whenever I picture you in my mind, I think you can’t possibly be as perfect as I remember. Then you stand there like this, and I know the picture is wrong.”
“It’s wrong because you are so much fucking better.”
“I can’t decide if that’s hot or deranged.” He shot me a wink as he tied a towel around his waist. “Always both, sweetheart.”
“I feel like we should get a camera. No one will believe how gone Cal is unless we have photographic evidence.”
“Bestie, time for another demonic boyfriend lesson. If Cal had his way, he’d chain you to his bedpost and wait on you hand and foot for the rest of eternity if that kept you safe. He’s trying to be more…human, for your sake.”
Sebastian Stan is where it’s at.”
“I would never hurt you. You could carve out my own heart and crush it beneath your boot, and I would still thank you for your time and attention.”
Nothing would make me happier than to get home and find you in bed, reading and relaxing.
“Who cares if it’s healthy? I’m immortal. It’s not like I’m going to die from suppressing my emotions.”
There was a loud crack as the table chose that moment to give up. Fortunately, my arms were still holding Oscar. Lifting him away, we silently stared at the broken front leg. “It died for a worthy cause,” Oscar intoned in a serious voice.
“There’s a thin line between love and hate, and those two have been dancing along it for centuries.”
“Enemies to lovers is a top trope,” Oscar said. “It could have merit.”
Mori stood to one side while Harlow and Cal placed shields over him. They’d made it sound far cooler than it looked. Which was essentially them putting their hands on him and frowning while he stood still.
Apparently, knowing he was about to risk his life by fighting off legions of demons was enough to change him from a grumpy dickhead to a fucking sunbeam.
“Every day, I thank my lucky stars you decided to stalk me home.”
“I should probably tell you that’s crazy because it is,” I whispered. “But for some reason, your brand of crazy is fucking hot.”
“I will choose you every day for the rest of eternity.”
