Aidan aimed that relaxed and happy toward me.
The leather ties on his vest begged to be tugged. I wanted to use them to tug him closer.
He looked at me. Like he saw me.
I liked this Aidan who looked at me like nothing else existed.
His warm skin sent an electric jolt through me.
Aidan looked at me with care and concern. With something more I couldn’t name.
His cheeks flushed which sent my own blush in action.
dear God, he had a dimple.
He reached across to me, his hand trailing down my arm
By the way, you look nice.”
I liked the way he said I found you.
With Aidan, I wanted to share.
Finding each other.”
He skimmed a hand across my cheek and into my hair. Every nerve in my body danced. His lips fell to mine and I caught them. I caught all of him, every piece he was open to sharing.
He tasted like mint and sky and summer.
He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.
Aidan: Thought of you today.
A photo of a rose blossom appeared beneath his message.
I wanted that guy to be Aidan.
He stood close, a reminder of his touch, our secret.
He flashed a smile hitting me at the knees.
I studied her, but I would never be her.
Aidan smiled the smile that turned my knees to goo. And then he kissed me. Right there in front of Dan and Mason.
“I’ve been listening to her.
Aidan had this way of looking at me like he saw all of me.
