Perish had loved me, I saw it in his eyes. Love and just relief… relief that someone loved you. Someone cared.
Which is why you killed him. You don’t leave your pet to starve if you can’t take it with you; you shoot it so it doesn’t suffer.
I won, you pathetic waste of life.
“As much as you wish for it, I’m not as complicated as you think.”
the world is full of jerks and unfortunately it can be difficult to tell the difference. The best jerks are the ones who can fake it.
Their windows and doors were boarded up, blinding and silencing them until the ebb of time took what little pride they had left. A fate that would eventually reach all of us.

My fleeting attraction was based on my own vile nature, and a human need to find like-minded people, no matter how depraved.
