Harry Potter was a highly unusual boy in many ways.
Of all the unusual things about Harry, this scar was the most extraordinary of all.
Extremely unusual though he was, at that moment Harry Potter felt just like everyone else — glad, for the first time in his life, that it was his birthday.
“I don’t go looking for trouble,” said Harry, nettled. “Trouble usually finds me.”

Severus Snape was pulling off the Invisibility Cloak, his wand pointing directly at Lupin.
“How extraordinary,” said Dumbledore. There was a note of amusement in his voice.

“Unless you are suggesting that Harry and Hermione are able to be in two places at once, I’m afraid I don’t see any point in troubling them further.”
She looked around at Harry, who was watching Hogwarts disappear from view behind a mountain. Two whole months before he’d see it again. . . .
