I Will Teach You To Be Rich by Ramit Sethi.
But wanting to read and actually reading are two different things.
Things are different now. Over the past two years, I’ve deleted all social media and email apps from my phone. I also no longer sleep with my phone next to me in bed. Buying a Kindle has transformed my relationship with technology. Period.
The feeling I have after reading a book for a few minutes on my phone is very different from what I used to feel after checking my email.

Another hidden feature of Goodreads is the stats page. My favorite is a graph displaying how many pages I’ve read over time.
Let me make one thing clear from the start: listening to an audiobook does count as reading a book.
There is a setting called Vocabulary Builder that remembers every dictionary look-up you do on Kindle. If you’re really trying to improve your vocab, use this feature to generate flashcards for all the words you’ve looked up—then quiz yourself after reading a book. How amazing is that?
I originally bought my Kindle so I could read more books, but I’ve continued to use it because my system for retaining knowledge has become something I can’t live without.
My rule for highlighting is simple: do it often without limitation. If something sticks out, highlight it.
Firstly, highlighting will naturally create a database of our favorite quotes.
These highlights can also be sent to apps such as Evernote or Notion for further markup or organization
After making some highlights on your Kindle, you’ll see a new book in your library called My Clippings. This book will contain all the highlights and notes you’ve made on your Kindle in one central place.
By visiting read.amazon.com/notebook, we can see all the Amazon books we own that contain highlights. This page is very similar to the one on Goodreads, with almost the exact same features.
all I have to do is share these tweets (or threads) via DM to Readwise, and they’ll end up in my Readwise account. I can then review them just like Kindle highlights, and add notes. They will also start appearing in my daily reviews.
