He stared at her lifeless body face down in the water and noticed something odd. As the water spewed across the floor, it was lifting her blonde hair off of her head. Derrick looked closely at the pale, bald skin beneath where the hair had been and was confused. He positioned himself on his knees and used every ounce of muscle he had to roll her over on her back. Just as he was able to lift her on her side, he got a glimpse of her face and released her in horror as she flopped over on her back, looking up at the ceiling.
