the antidote to our pain is to be fully present with the love that exists in our lives right now. To not shy away from doubling down on love. To embrace the fact that we deserve to feel joy and aren’t betraying or dishonoring the ones that are gone by laughing with and loving the ones who are here now.
Grief is always in direct proportion to love. Since love never dies, neither will grief. It’s something I’m learning to live with, like a lost limb.
