“Go ahead. She won’t stop nagging until you do. She’s powered by gay tears.”
Veronica Sawyer liked this
“Assaulting a police officer? Angel face in there? The kid is the personification of a basket of kittens. What did he assault him with? Kindness?” Linc’s lips twitched as he tried to keep a straight face. “A twelve-inch black dildo known as the ‘hole wrecker.’”
“Get thee behind me, hooker Barbie. I have no time for your forked tongue today.
Stay with me. Fuck me. Spend the night. Spend the rest of your life. Or mine.
“Now you, angel face. What else are you hiding underneath that choirboy exterior?”
“Open your eyes, angel. Look at me.” Robby forced himself to comply. “Fuck, you’re so fucking beautiful. I wanna watch you come.”
“Fuck, you did so well. God, you’re fucking perfect. So fucking perfect.”
He was so fucking gorgeous. Everything about him was bright and vibrant. He just radiated this energy, even after everything he’d been through, and Calder wanted to bathe in it, wanted to see Robby discovering what he liked and what he didn’t, wanted to feel him coming apart beneath him, wanted to be the one who worked him open and showed his body how to yield to Calder’s invasion.
“Oh, sweetie. If we were villagers, you’d be the first one we’d chuck into a volcano to appease the gods.”
“No, you idiot, because he was a total bottom and so are you. Like, you need somebody to take care of you, and let’s be real, that was never going to be Elijah. You need a Daddy, not a boy,” Wyatt explained. “Don’t listen to him. He thinks everybody just wants to be spanked and have their hair pulled,” Charlie said.
“There’s something about this kid that’s got you by the short ones, which I have to admit, I find…amusing.”
“Okay. The client comes first,” Linc said, glaring at Wyatt and Charlie when they giggled like small children.
No fucking the clients. No matter how sweet and soft and delectable they were, and Robby was the sweetest of them all.
“I know what it’s like to be invisible, for nobody to want you. I couldn’t stomach the thought of him living the rest of his life feeling unloved.”
Calder hated that he was always upsetting him. He was so…tenderhearted. Calder didn’t want Robby to lose that. He definitely didn’t want to be the reason he did.
The boy was a ball of emotions, the living embodiment of chaotic energy. Loud one minute, quiet the next. Timid one minute, bold the next. Scared all the time but had no filter at all when it came to his thoughts. Calder couldn’t figure out how the world seemed to just pass Robby over.
This was his life now. Overrun and bossed around by two twinks and a scary brunette with no filter.
Kiss me, fuck me, love me, keep me.
Calder rotated his jaw and prayed for calm. He had a job to do, and he couldn’t do that if he was sitting in jail for assault.
“I decided it didn’t matter. Rough or sweet. I just wanted you to want me. I wanted you inside me. I wanted to feel like somebody like you saw me and still wanted me.”
“Fuck. I do want you. You know that, right? I can’t get you out of my head. You live there now and that’s a problem, but it’s a problem for another day because I need you to get me off. Please, sweetness. Be good for me.”
Charlie was dirty dancing with a girl dressed like Gwen Stefani, but it was the boys who had Calder’s undivided attention. Robby was somehow the meat in an Elijah and Wyatt sandwich.
Images flooded Calder’s brain. Waking up next to Robby every day. Drinking coffee together. Feeding the dogs. Getting kids off to school. Having sex in the shower. Calder felt like he’d been mule kicked. Fuck. What was happening to him?
“Fuck, baby. Are you already hard? God, that’s hot. Come on.”
“I want you inside me. I want you to take my virginity. I won’t tell anybody. Nobody will ever have to know but us. Please? I want it to be you. It’s supposed to be you. I’ve known it since the second I saw you.”
“Oh, fuck. Yeah. That’s it. God, you’re so fucking sexy. Make yourself feel good, angel.”
After a moment, he jabbed it down again. “Keep the dog out there. It gives me the creeps.” Calder’s mouth fell open. “Hey, Cas can’t help how he looks. It’s not his fault he’s ugly.” Linc snorted a laugh. “Jesus, this kid’s really done a number on you.”
“Angel, I love you, too, but I have to tell you, you have a flair for being dramatic.”
“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. That was too much. You’re… I should have been more careful with you.” “Stop apologizing. I’m not made of glass. I liked it. I still can’t believe somebody like you would ever even look at somebody like me.”
“Shit. I don’t even know how to do this anymore, but please, please, please, God, please don’t take him away from me. Not now. Fuck, please. Please, let him be okay.”
Calder leveled a look at Ezra. Robby called it his Daddy look, though that word took on an entirely different context when Calder leveled that look at Robby.
