When we live our lives in worship and in simple adoration, everything could be going wrong in our life. Every dream and desire could be unfulfilled in our life, but still our heart can be satisfied. Why? Because I am not here to perform. I am here to be in the presence of Jesus. Whether every dream and great life goal comes to pass or not, I’m going to be in the same position—settled and at peace. Whether I am known or hidden, my heart is satisfied because I have intimacy with God, and that is the most important part of my life.
