You were saying that the big people are like gods to us, but it’s not true, we are the gods. Our minds are closer to holiness than theirs. They fall into godliness when they mate, then they get old, shrivel up, hunch over, their teeth fall out, their hair falls out, they get terrible diseases, and they all die. Yes, they know more than we do: they know what awaits them in the future. They are more afraid than we are. They are more resigned, more hopeless.
