“I’ll take you away from here…” he promised. “The only way I know how.” I trembled with the intensity of his words, watching as he slowly sank his fingers inside me. “Jesus,” he panted, biting his lower lip. “Christ, you’re a good girl. Look at how good you are.”
He licked and sucked, then lifted his head. In the gloom, the muscles of his throat worked as he swallowed. But there was that hard glint in his eyes. “You’re fucking mine, you understand that? You’re…mine. You go into the darkness, I’m right there with you. There’s no leaving me, Ryth. Not now, not ever…in this life, or the next.”
“Not even death wanted me, princess,” I answered, holding on tight. “Only you…always you.”
He yanked my jacket from my body and stared into my eyes. “Princess…” he whispered. “I’d crawl through fucking Hell to get back to you, don’t you know that by now?”
“I’m gonna use you, princess,” he growled again, driving me against the tree. “I’m gonna use your body…gonna take your soul. Gonna steal that heart right out of your chest…the way you’ve stolen mine.”
