Send an asynchronous pre-read at least a day in advance of your meeting. This encourages participation from people who might need a little time to get their thoughts together, and it orients the entire group to the questions and tasks at hand. Facilitate a timeboxed, synchronous meeting where you work together to make a decision, co-create a document, or solve a problem as described in the pre-read.
