Nearly every product manager I know has complained to me at least once that their company is an output-obsessed feature factory that only pretends to care about its users. But nearly every product manager I know, myself included, has also contributed to this very problem by prioritizing the features that will be easiest to manage over the features (and nonfeatures) that will be most impactful.
