It feels like she never really belonged anywhere, always just trying to fit in. Doing what others are instead of what feels right, what the social norms are. On some level I relate to that. Trying to see where you belong, but the only way to do that is to try something new, Nita has done something I could not, adjust, try new things and keep moving forward.

that is a genuine pain. Realizing you are not enough for someone after you have revealed your true self to that person. Such a thing will haunt every fiber of your being for the rest of your life.
you can’t carry that pain through the rest of your life. At some point, we must let it go and realize that even if we had not been enough in the past, there is still a chance to be enough in the future.”

A dream without heart is nothing at all.
“Life hardly ever works out,” Cecile says, “but on those rare occasions when it does lead you to the right place, it is a thing of beauty.”
she never had to learn to pick herself up and move forward because she’d never fallen before. As painful as it is to fall, she has never experienced such growth and strength as she has in these last weeks,
all families are dysfunctional in their own way but still find a way to love each other somehow.
