Whisper is simply the hired weapon. While he enjoys the challenges of stealth and evasion, he doesn’t enjoy the act of killing itself. Yet there’s a closeness in the act. During those final moments, Whisper becomes the worst and most important person in their lives. It’s only natural they become an indelible part of Whisper too.
